Privacy Policy

Churchy is a US church finder that lets you read and write public reviews and ratings of churches. This policy explains exactly what we collect, how it is used, and the control you have over it.

What we collect

• Email address — used to sign you in and secure your account.
• Display name — shown alongside the reviews you write.
• Reviews and ratings you write — these are public and visible to everyone, attributed to your display name.
• Sign in with Apple identifier — if you use Sign in with Apple, we store the identifier Apple provides so we can recognize you on return visits.

Location

When you use "Near Me" search, your device location is handled on-device and sent to us only as transient search coordinates to find nearby churches. We do not store your location, and it is never linked to your account.

What we do not do

• No advertising.
• No third-party tracking or analytics profiling.
• No sale of your data to anyone, ever.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and every review you have written. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
